Born in Petite-Rivière de l'Artibonite as Piterson Desir, Hannes Delcroix (1.84 m) grew up in Belgium after being adopted. Trained at RSC Anderlecht, where he turned pro at 17, the centre-back broke through there, notably under Vincent Kompany.

From Brussels to Haiti's back line

After one cap for Belgium in 2020 and tougher spells at Burnley and Swansea, he found stability at FC Lugano in Switzerland. FIFA's rules — a single friendly with the Red Devils — let him opt for Haiti in 2025.

Alongside Ricardo Adé he forms a complementary pairing: where Adé brings power, Delcroix reads and anticipates the game. At 26, his European experience will be precious against Brazil, Morocco and Scotland.
