Born on 24 September 2001 in Baie-Mahault (Guadeloupe) to Haitian parents, Josué Casimir is a versatile midfielder — right-back, winger or playmaker — who plays for AJ Auxerre. Spotted in Guadeloupe at US Goyave, he made his name at Le Havre AC.

The hero of Le Havre's promotion

He scored the goal that sealed promotion to Ligue 1 and the 2022/23 Ligue 2 title against Dijon. Le Havre's top assist provider the following season, he signed for Auxerre on a free in 2025. Quick and unselfish, he is valued at €4.4 million.

Called up for the first time in September 2025, he made an immediate impact: involved in both goals against Nicaragua, he left his mark on qualification. A dribbler with good vision who also knows how to fire up the group.
